Welcome to American Family Magazine

This is a relaxing place for family and friends from all walks of life to seek inspiration to help enrich their travels along life’s highways and byways. Please come sit on our front porch and have a nice tall glass of iced tea while our family enjoys your company and your family enjoys our stories.

Most of the articles in American Family Magazine are written by everyday folks who are experts in the subjects about which they write. This way, we are able to provide more in-depth, informative articles for our readers.

Who knows more about home cooking than grandma? You will find many great family recipes written by home cooks, chefs and catering specialists from all over America. If you have a great family recipe you think we should post, please don’t hesitate sending it our way. We’ll take a look and get back to you.

When the economy took a turn for the worse, we began providing information for entrepreneurs, and investigating job opportunities that would help supplement our readers’ regular incomes, and alleviate that added stress in their lives. About half of our readers today visit our Entrepreneur section for our trusted investigative-style articles.

Our Handyman, Health and Gardening sections are very popular, too. Please share your news with us if you would like us to share it with America. We hope you enjoy your visit to our family magazine, and thanks for stopping by.

Magical Petals of the Calendula

Magical Petals of the Calendula

So queenly that Mary Queen of Scots declared her beauty in her rhyme and, “…reigned in her garden most sublime.” Marigolds, or Calendula in its Latin formality, are the unassuming, golden flowers with a pungent odor.

Pomme d’Amour… She started her career in the Americas but was shunned because of her family heritage, that of Deadly Nightshade. So begins the odyssey of our tomato, long disputed as to whether she is a fruit or veggie and with a questionable heritage to boot.

Premarital Sex and Consequences

Premarital Sex and Consequences

The consequences of the actions of one generation ARE visited on the next, and also on the ones before. Parents do not stay together and provide a loving home and family example for their children. Their children do not understand the value of a carefully chosen mate who could bring a lifetime of joy to the new family. Sadly, their life goals become muddled as they begin to engage in sexual activity before their brains and emotions are developed enough to understand.
